Starting from San Marcos, venture out to Del Dios Highway, passing Lake Hodges and then through the posh neighborhood of Rancho Santa Fe along Paseo Delicias and Linea Del Cielo. When you reach Solana Beach, you'll make your way north along the coast through all the icon beach communities mentioned in Beach Boys songs. After Oceanside, you'll jump on the Interstate 5 to the Las Pulgas Ave exit before continuing on miles of bike paths. If you have a base pass, you may elect to traverse through Camp Pendleton. When you arrive at San Juan Capistrano in Orange County, you'll start your return ride back to Oceanside, where you'll get on the 76 bike path and start your ride east, passing through Bonsall before reaching Old Highway 395, where you will start your final miles south to the finish.

Randonneuring is a self-supporting event – there will be no day of registration available. This brevet will be lightly support. Ride leader may be a participant on the day of the brevet.
All riders must follow RUSA rules. Helmets are required for everyone who participates in this event. Riders must follow all local traffic laws and regulations.
